- בּוּכְיָאm. (בוך; v. P. Sm. I 526 sq.) 1) the weavers shuttle; 2) the spider. Succ.52a; Snh.99b חוט של ב׳ the thread of the shuttle (or spider-web). (Snh. l. c. כוביא, Mss. vary betw. כוביא a. כוכיא q. v.( 3) coal-pan, v. בּוּבְיָא.Cmp. בִּיכַי.
